As a Project Team

Cross-functional teams with completed process improvement projects from all industries and sectors are invited to participate. Whether you're focused on operational efficiencies, quality improvements, or innovative Problem Solving strategies, this competition offers a platform for every team to showcase their projects.
Since 1989, close to 1,825 teams from about 560+ organization have participated.

Project Categories:

  • Manufacturing Process: External customer (Customer is blind to the process). Eg: Automobile, Refineries, etc.
  • Service Process: External customer (Customer always part of the process). Eg: Banks, Airlines, etc.
  • Support Process: Internal customers. Eg: Maintenance, Purchasing, etc.

Registration Fee: INR 20,000 (plus GST) per project

METHODOLOGIES

QualTech® Prize welcomes projects that have applied any Process Improvement methodology to achieve remarkable results, including but not limited to

  • Lean
  • Six Sigma
  • Agile
  • Kaizen
  • Design Thinking
  • Total Quality Management (TQM)
  • Any other established methodology

Each of these methodologies is a unique avatar of the broader Problem Solving process, and your project can be recognized for its innovative application of these principles.

To ensure clarity and consistency in submissions, please use the official QualTech® Prize template. The template will guide you to provide the necessary information for a compelling submission.

Project Summary Template (to be submitted through Dashboard):

  • Introduction (100 words)
  • Challenge (200 words)
  • Solution (200 words)
  • Results (100 words)

Examiner Assesment Criteria for Virtual Presentations:

  • Project Summary – 10 points (submitted on portal)
  • Presentation Impact – 50 points
  • Quality of Visuals – 10 points
  • Ability to Field Questions – 20 points
  • Time Management – 10 points*
    • *You will get 8 minutes for the presentation and 2 minutes for Q&A. 10 points for completing the presentation within 8 mins. 0 points for not.
