Qimpro College was established in 1991, by Qimpro Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai. The primary objective of Qimpro College is to enable individuals to propel their careers on a fast track. Since inception, the college has certified over 3000 Qualitists in the fields of quality improvement, quality management, six sigma and performance excellence, in India, Thailand, Indonesia, Pakistan, Oman, and Kenya.

Quality Council of India, New Delhi (QCI-ND) was set up in 1997 jointly by the Government of India and the Indian Industry represented by the three premier industry associations – Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) – to establish and operate national accreditation structure and promote quality through National Quality Campaign.
