For the past 23 years, Qimpro Convention has been a recognition platform for team excellence in quality. The event applauds excellence achieved through efforts by the middle management.
Two competitions run independently, and in parallel. QualTech Prize is awarded for improvement in business processes while BestPrax Prize is awarded for innovation in managerial practices/processes or green initiatives.

MACRO COMPETITION PROCESS
The build-up to the convention is a nine-month long intense process, which is outlined below:
Projects are received under the various categories for each competition
Examiners are shortlisted for project assessments
Each project is assessed against detailed pre-determined criteria, by five examiners who are subject matter experts
Examiners shortlist projects for final presentation to a panel of judges at Qimpro Convention
Judges evaluate presentations, ask questions and declare winners under each category
Winning teams and runners-up are felicitated with trophies at a Prize Distribution Ceremony
Non-winning finalists are also felicitated with miniature trophies
Members of all participating teams are given certificates
– Certification of Participation to the non-finalists
– Certification of Merit to the finalists
Certification of Excellence is issued (post event) to the winner and runner-up organizations
