Quality Council of Indiana (QCI), founded by Bill Wortman in 1991, specializes in providing comprehensive, up-to-date study materials for American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification examinations for the past 16 years.
QCI has sold to over 80 countries, and to all seven continents. Our partnership enables us to offer some of these training and education services in India.
QCI employees hold a combined 21 ASQ certifications. They are active in the local ASQ Section as officers and committee chairs. |

| Certification is formal recognition by ASQ that an individual has demonstrated a proficiency within and a comprehension of a specified Body of Knowledge at a point in time. It is peer recognition and not registration or licensure. |

QCI's Primer is a self contained reference source for the certification. To support the certification student, QCI provides Solution Texts and Practice Examination CDs. Several candidates find this study material very comprehensive, minimizing the need for tutorials.
PRIMERS cover the Bodies of Knowledge (BOK) for each respective exam plus sample questions and answers. Many ASQ Sections use QCI Primers as their main study text. Companies and Universities use them for continuing education.
SOLUTIONS TEXTS, provide a detailed explanation of the correct answer. The Solution Text is a stand-alone, comb-bound book, and is available for each Primer.
The EXAM CD is a user-friendly, interactive software that will assist students preparing for ASQ examinations. Each CD contains 1,000 questions and solutions. Each test trial may be taken in a variety of randomized or categorized options. All examinations are timed and summarized graphically. Solutions and references are available for every question. This software is very useful for test simulation and determination of weakness - before it's too late! |

If you have completed a degree, diploma, or certificate program beyond high school, a portion of the required experience may be waived.
Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
Requires that you have at least 10 years of work experience in one or more areas of the Body of Knowledge. This includes at least five years in a decision making technical, professional, or managerial position.
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)
Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE)
These programs all require that you have at least eight years of work experience in one or more areas of the Body of Knowledge for that particular exam. This includes at least three years in a decision making technical, professional, or management position.
Certified Quality Technician (CQT)
Requires that you have at least four years of work experience in one or more areas of the CQT Body of Knowledge.
Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)
Requires that you have at least two years of work experience in one or more areas of the CMI Body of Knowledge. If you do not have a high school diploma, you must have an additional three years of experience.
Certified Quality Process Analyst (CQPA)
Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
These programs require two years of general work experience or an associate's degree (or higher).
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB)
Requires two completed projects with signed affidavits or one project with a signed affidavit and three years of work experience, as it pertains to the CSSBB Body of Knowledge. There is no education waiver.
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB)
Requires three years of work experience within the CSSGB Body of Knowledge. Certified
Calibration Technician (CCT)
Requires that you have five years of on-the-job experience in one or more of the areas of the CCT Body of Knowledge. |

| All examinations consist of multiple choice questions that are carefully designed, reviewed for correctness, and computer scored and analyzed to properly determine the degree of comprehension of the prescribed Body of Knowledge. The Certified Manager of Quality exam also contains 2 constructed-response (essay) questions. All exams are given in the English language only. |
|
|
|
| The CRE, CQT, CQI, CSSBB and CMQ/OE examinations are given each March and October. The CQE, CSQE, CQIA, CCT, CQPA, CQA, and CSSGB examinations are given each June and December. The application deadlines are approximately 45 days before the examination dates. Specific examination dates are listed on the application. All certification testing is administered through ASQ headquarters, with test sites in local ASQ Sections. |

Qimpro College offer tests for 6 of 12 certification courses which help candidates judge their level of performance and prepare for the ASQ exam. The tests are currently conducted in Mumbai, Chennai and Chandigarh (more locations coming soon) on any convenient weekday. We will require two weeks lead time and the test fees in advance. Each successful candidate is awarded a Certificate of Qualification from Qimpro College.
The certificate has validity for three years. An application for re-certification will be considered as a fresh application. The application form can be downloaded from here. |

| Each exam has a category for every topic in the body-of-knowledge as defined by ASQ. Configure your own exam by choosing the number of question and the categories on the exam. The exam is timed (with a pause button in case you are interrupted), and your score is tabulated by category to expose weaknesses. |

| When you complete an exam the results are shown in a tabular and graphical form along with the exam timing. |

| After each question is answered, the time per question and percent correct is displayed. |
