A Yellow Belt is someone trained in Six Sigma basics. In particular, the Yellow Belt has diagnostic skills to measure, analyze, and improve pain areas in a process.
Most companies have required over 50 per cent of their population to be trained as Yellow Belts.
Yellow Belts serve as team members. The day-to-day role of the Yellow Belts is to identify and diagnose chronic problems in their area of influence. |
