Teams that have worked on projects to continually improve their organization's processes by doing one or more of the following:
SIMPLIFYING - Stop doing unnecessary things
IMPROVING - Doing things better
using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, Lean Six Sigma, TQM, etc.

Green initiatives
Innovative managerial practices
Innovative processes
*By definition, a managerial practice is an umbrella term for operational and non-operational practice

INNOVATING - Doing things no one else is doing
IMPOSSIBLE - Doing things that cannot be done

Project Submission Fee
- Regular: INR 25,000 + 10.3% Service Tax per project
- 10% Early Bird discount if payment is made before 31-Mar-12
- 10% discount on 5 projects from a single Business Unit
- 10% discount for 2011, 2010, 2009 competition participant
All discounts are mutually exclusive and cannot be combined
Each project entry is entitled to one complimentary registration to the event (one day)
Each project making it to the finals will be entitled to an additional complimentary registration for one presenter only (one day)
Once projects have been registered, in the event of cancellations, the organization will be liable to pay the cancellation fee, even if payment has not been made in advance.

NOTE: We take care to ensure that Examiners assessing projects are not competitors. We also provide a separate section for confidential information (if any) in the project report template. This information is shared only with the 5 examiner to whom the project is assigned.
Examiners Assessment Criteria
All entries received will be assessed by two independent panels of examiners who are subject matter experts. Scores will be collated. The 20 highest scoring improvement projects and 10 highest scoring innovation projects will be selected to compete at Qimpro Convention 2011.
