Improvement of pin -mailer generation and regeneration process

Abstract
ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company is a joint venture between ICICI Bank, a premier financial powerhouse, and Prudential plc, a leading international financial services group headquartered in the United Kingdom. ICICI Prudential was amongst the first private sector insurance companies to begin operations in December 2000 after receiving approval from Insurance Regulatory Development Authority (IRDA). This paper documents how ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company improved the process of sending out pin-mailers to the customer and channel partners. The goal was to reduce the instances of complaints on account of pin mailer not received or not working and to increase the efficiency in handing requests and complaints for duplicate pin mailer. Tackling issues related to existing process and subsequently e-enabling the process for both generation and regeneration solved the problem.
